About Empowered Women’s Retreat

Join us as we pause the rush of daily life to take care of our souls. Learn how to count it all - the big and small disappointments and suffering, delays and trials - ALL of it, JOY! Please be our guest. Rest awhile, be refreshed, come enjoy.

The Bible calls us to rejoice when we are faced with trials of all kinds. But how do we actually do that? What is the secret to finding joy in, not in spite of, life's big and small disappointments and pressures and trials? Through interactive breakout sessions and large group worship sessions, with break time built-in, you'll hear how real women are empowered to trust God and rejoice in troubles of all kinds and explore transforming Biblical truths about the great God who is working in us and empowering us to "count it all joy".

» $30 General Admission, tickets cover both days! - (Register now, we are filling up quickly)

Gueat speaker Stacy Guanci will also discuss the Safe Families for Children program, highlighting the many benefits and positive impact it has on our communities.

Abigail Wallace - Keynote Speaker

Abigail is a Bible teacher, writer and work-in-progress with a heart to see women strengthened by God’s grace as they meet him in his Word. She works part-time as a speech-language pathologist and full-time at looking to Jesus while she runs her race. Abigail blogs at JoyfullyPressingOn.com and hosts an online Bible study called Wonders of the Word. Look for her first book, Strong Meek, next year.

Abigail enjoys bright sunlight, dark coffee, duo walks, solo jogs and Almond Joy ice cream. She lives in the woods outside Burlington with her husband Jim and two sons. One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory.”

Krissy Lindmark - Master of Ceremonies & Pep

Krissy enjoys traveling to visit friends and family, working at her family’s business, and winter adventures that involve speed. She is not a lover of ice cream and prefers salty snacks like chips and dip. Krissy lives in Hartland with her husband Joe and 3 kiddos. One of her favorite Bible verses is Hebrews 12:1, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and run with endurance the race set before us.”
